House prices
This section contains data on House prices in Hertfordshire.
Data on average quarterly house prices is available below for Quarters from 1998 to the present. Prices are given for Detached, Semi-detached and Terraced houses and Flats/Maisonettes as well as an overall price for District council areas and Post towns in Hertfordshire. This data is provided by HM Land Registry and is Crown copyright.
House price data is also provided on a monthly basis by the Land Registry in conjunction with their House Price Index. Custom reports on the Index are available for Hertfordshire and other county/unitary council areas by selecting the link entitled HM Land Registry House Price Index Reports (on the right hand side of the screen).
Communities and Local Government (CLG) produce two tables on housing affordability. These are available below.
